When we think about mental health, we often focus on adults and teens – but mental health actually begins at birth. Yes, even babies and young children benefit from mental health support. At CNS Healthcare, we recognize the importance of nurturing emotional wellness from the very start, because your mental health matters – and so does your baby’s.

Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health (IECMH) is a specialized service that provides integrated mental health care for pregnant women, fathers, infants and toddlers, early school-aged children, and adult caregivers of children up to age 6. The focus is on building strong, healthy relationships that serve as the foundation for lifelong emotional and cognitive development.

IECMH services are especially beneficial for high-risk mothers, primary caregivers, and their young children who are at risk for impaired psychological and cognitive development. Individuals receiving services may be diagnosed with Disorders of Infancy and Early Childhood, Serious Emotional Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Disorder.

From pregnancy to preschool, CNS Healthcare is here for you. With local offices in Novi and Waterford, our dedicated team offers compassionate, expert care right in your community.
